Manu Seen - Sitar player

Manu seen is one of the finest and established sitar players of young generation in the country. He is fortunate to learn Sitar from the world renowned Sitarist Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan of Etawah Gharana.
Before being initiated into Sitar playing Manu was introduced to Vocal Music and Tabla by his father Sangeet Acharya Lachhman Singh Seen, a Legendary Musician of Punjab Gharana, who was recently awarded with the sangeet natak academy award by the president of India. He founded a Music Institution “Sangeet Vilas” in 1950 which is presently run by Manu Seen. In the adolescent years his unique passion for playing melodies on the Sitar was noticed by connoisseurs of Music. Ever since his student age he has been winning a score of prestigious medals and awards. He has successfully completed Master’s Degree in English Literature and in Music with Gold medal from Guru Nanak Dev University.
Manu Seen is an “A” grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He has a number of audio–video Cd’s to his credit. Manu Seen is well known for his electrifying and vibrant Sitar performance.

Over the years , Manu has toured extensively in India (Mumbai,Andhra pradesh,Kolkata,Tamil nadu,Delhi,Benaras,Gujarat,Himachal pradesh )and abroad (America,Canada,Indonesia,England) and has established himself , creating a trance with his music . 

Currently Manu is actively performing , entrholling his audiences around the globe, and promises to contribute in the field of Indian music .
